Banana Bread Recipe

 

Banana Bread

Makes 2 loaves (20 Pieces)

Ingredients:

  • 235 ml (1 cup) butter
  • 475 ml (2 cups) sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 6 bananas, finely crushed – can be previously frozen
  • 710 ml (3 cups) flour
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) baking soda
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoons) salt
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoons) vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF
  2. Cream together butter and sugar
  3. Add eggs, crushed bananas and vanilla
  4. Combine well
  5. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt then add to creamed mixture
  6. Mix until just combines – do not overmix
  7. Pour into greased and floured bread loaf pans
  8. Bake at 350ºF for 55 minutes
